McLachlan Construction & Remodeling has been a new home builder, general contractor, and home remodeler in North Lake Tahoe, Incline Village, Reno and the Carson Valley since 1979. With over 30 years in the building profession, Curtis McLachlan has successfully taken on the challenges of a variety of construction projects, including a golf course club house, the Sparks B Street train, and two AM/PM Mini-Marts. He once built a house over the top of another house while the owners lived in it, then combined the two into one in a unique feat of house construction.

However, the centerpiece of his business has been designing and building custom Lake Tahoe homes on the water. As a four time award winner of the prestigious Washoe County Architectural Committee award for distinctive and excellence in design, he has gathered a wealth of knowledge and experience. In addition to his signature lodge design, he is experienced with remodeling projects from contemporary to traditional.
